Derek Gibbs is a native of Sycamore, Illinois – a western suburb to Chicago – and currently resides in Denver, Colorado as an editorial photographer and photojournalist. He graduates from The Art Institute of Colorado with his BA in Commercial Photography in June of 2009 and plans to return to the Chicagoland area.
